Mar 29/NYC: Representing Homeowners at Foreclosure Settlement Conferences

The Queens County Bar Association Academy of Law, Queens County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project, Empire Justice Center, Legal Aid Society, Legal Services for the Elderly in Queens, Queens Legal Services and MFY Legal Services present this free CLE for pro bono volunteers.
This program is intended only for lawyers who are already active members of the foreclosure conference panel (in Queens County) or new volunteers who agree to a pro bono volunteer service commitment to represent one homeowner in the foreclosure settlement conference process in Queens County. Volunteers must be attorneys admitted in good standing in New York State.
In order to register for this program, you must agree to these terms and commit to volunteering to handle such a case. No minimum experience or bar association membership is required to take the training and volunteer for this program.
Light refreshments will be served between 5 & 6 p.m. before the program.
