October 30/Oakland, CA: Raise Taxes But How? A Guide to California's Competing Tax Reform Ballot Initiatives

Propositions 30, 38, and 39 each present competing visions on how to raise revenue through the ballot initiative process.  Come learn how these initiatives will affect California’s budget, schools, and taxes, and the consequences of enacting one, all, or none of them from representatives of the two leading campaigns.
Before you vote, either early or on election day, join us for a presentation followed by a question and answer session with representatives from the two leading statewide ballot measures that could have ongoing implications for California’s budget, including spending on education and vital services.
