May 31: Seattle - Call to Duty Day of Service (with #MCLE)

The WSBA Call to Duty Day of Service welcomes volunteer attorneys, law students and paralegals to be a part of serving Washington veterans through a full day of learning and serving .
The Day of Service will begin in the morning with a free CLE seminar on effectively working with veterans in two specific areas of family law. These two learning tracks include: one on parenting plan residential schedules, and the other on child support worksheets. Following the CLE you will get the chance to put your new skills into action in a 2 hour legal clinic opportunity. Attorneys of all experience levels are encouraged to register for this rewarding and engaging day
Please note that all participants in the Day of Service will be provided malpractice insurance covering the legal clinic portion of the day through the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal Services Program.

In addition to the free CLE seminar, by volunteering in the afternoon clinic you also qualify to convert these two hours of pro bono work into CLE credit under MCLE Regulation 103(f).
