I will be speaking at a breakfast seminar about the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act on July 14.  Registration is required, see the details and registration link below.
This session will review:
  • recent trends in the caselaw interpreting the CFAA;
  • the pitfalls to avoid in bringing a successful CFAA civil action;
  • the advantages to using the CFAA over traditional common law remedies; and
  • the proactive steps a company can take to position itself to use the CFAA to retrieve its competitively sensitive data and to prevent it from being disseminated in the marketplace.
