The Case Western Reserve University Human Trafficking Program and the Collaborative to End Human Trafficking are hosting their first annual Human Trafficking Multidisciplinary Symposium: Strategic Responses. It will take place on August 29, 2019 at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens.
The symposium will include health care providers, counselors and social workers, lawyers, judges and law enforcement working together to develop strategies to address issues of victim identification, vulnerable populations, labor trafficking, public health, trauma informed services and specialty courts.
The symposium will begin with a key-note presentation from Chris Thompson, author of “The Power of Collaboration”. Breakout sessions will include expert speakers, local, regional and national, to present and discuss issues important to health care providers, lawyers, counselors and social workers.
