  • Lucy Bassli, Founder and Principal, InnoLegal Services, PLLC is an attorney, author of The Simple Guide to Legal Innovation and a former Assistant General Counsel of Legal Operations and Contracting at Microsoft. While at Microsoft, she redefined how legal work is done and created one of the first managed service engagements with a law firm. A frequent writer and speaker on legal services innovation, legal technology and legal process outsourcing, in 2015 she was named to the National Law Journal list of Outstanding Women Lawyers.
  • Mandy DePonte, Legal Operations Project Manager, Square, Inc. has been working in Legal Operations for the past 10 years focusing on increasing automation and implementing contract management and workflow systems. With a niche background in English writing and front end engineering, she's utilized her two passions in the tech industry to improve processes and increase collaboration to help businesses such as PlayStation, Kayak/OpenTable and most recently Square.
  • Sheena Ferrari, Head of Legal Operations, Snap, Inc. is an experienced data-centric legal operations nerd. She thrives on finding, building, and administering cross-functional process complimentary in-house operations solutions at scale. Prior to Snap, she assisted with and oversaw legal operations at Fitbit, SurveyMonkey and Gilead.
  • Gregory J. Kaple, Senior Director, Legal Business Services Kaiser Foundation Health Plan is a venturer and a strategist known for creating unique business models and solution delivery innovations for complex professional, technology and services organizations. In his current role, Kaple is transforming the KFHP legal department’s service delivery model to provide affordable access to high quality legalcare.
  • Moderator: Meg McEvoy is a Legal Analyst on Bloomberg Law’s Legal Operations & Markets team, with a particular focus on legal technology. In previous roles as a reporter and editor at Bloomberg Law, Meg has covered a number of industries and legal areas, including privacy/data security, corporate law, and health care. Meg also practiced as a commercial real estate attorney in Northern Virginia. Meg has a BA in English from the University of Virginia and a JD from William & Mary Law School.
