Pay equity and transparency remain hot topics in workplace law, and we continue to see high-profile equal pay lawsuits in the headlines. Many states have enacted, or are contemplating, legislation to address pay equity and to require that applicants and employees be given pay information. Pay equity has also become the focus of many state and federal agencies. This program will examine developments in recent state pay equity and pay transparency laws, federal pay equity initiatives, and agency enforcement. We will also offer practical strategies for conducting a pay equity audit in the workplace.
