Anytime/Web - Paperless 101: Ethics and Post-Paper Lawyering

Paperless 101: Ethics and Post-Paper Lawyering is a one-hour, audiovisual, self-study CLE course that discusses the practical and ethical reasons why a lawyer should begin to manage documents digitally rather than with paper files, folders and cabinets. It also introduces the basic principles of digital document management, and digital information management. Additional topics are covered in Paperless 102: Working with PDFs, CaseMap and Mindmanager. As The Irrevereant Lawyer pointed out about the latter program:
"Ironically, the program’s not free in Louisiana. It’s like smelling and tasting the steak for free but it costing you $$$ to digest.
Or in other words, you can watch the CLE program for free but it’s $49 to obtain MCLE credit. But if you’re in another jurisdiction that doesn’t nick you for CLE credit obtained from another state bar, then you’ve got it made."
