Thousands of Afghan refugee families are resettling across our country, to avoid persecution due to their having aided our United States government in Afghanistan. They left in a hurry and in large numbers, and are now encountering many legal and practical issues with which legal professionals can assist. In this continuing legal education webinar, a panel of experts from government, resettlement organizations, and the private sector will explain how!
Most of the relevant law is federal in nature, and most of the practical issues are common across our nation. Although this program is intended for Washington State attorneys, it should be useful for legal professionals in every American jurisdiction.
