November 17: Fifth Annual Emergency Medical Services Symposium

Widener Law Commonwealth will host the Fifth Annual Emergency Medical Services Symposium on Friday, November 17, 2023. This program is co-sponsored by the Widener Law Commonwealth Law and Government Institute, Page, Wolfberg & Wirth, LLC, the Ambulance Association of Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Fire and Emergency Services Institute.
The symposium will focus on exciting new developments in EMS law, regulation, and practice, as well as challenges faced by practitioners and health care organizations delivering emergency medical care.
Doors will open at 8 a.m. for breakfast prior to the start of the symposium at 8:30 a.m. The program will conclude with a buffet luncheon (for in person registrants) held during a keynote address by Matthew W. Konya, Esq., '17, of Page, Wolfberg and Wirth, LLC.
Among the featured panelists on the program are Nathan Silcox, executive director of the Pennsylvania Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, Sean Harris, a senior research analyst from the Pennsylvania House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, the heads of Pennsylvania’s Fire and Emergency Services Institute and Ambulance Association of PA, C. Steven Lyle, executive director, Emergency Health Services Federation, and several Page, Wolfberg & Wirth attorneys.
