Speaker:
Randy Tessier has a diverse career spanning both legal and technology fields. He currently serves as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager at CaseText, a position he has held since February 2023. Prior to this, Randy was an Assistant Public Defender at the Fulton County Public Defender’s Office from March 2021 to February 2023, where he advocated for clients in oral arguments, managed a large caseload, and explained complex legal concepts to non-lawyer clients. Before his role as a public defender, Randy worked as an Associate Attorney at Williams & Thomas from December 2020 to March 2021. He also gained valuable experience as a Legal Writing Intern at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office from March 2020 to December 2020. Randy served as a Student Attorney at the Barton Appeals for Youth Clinic from August 2018 to April 2020 and as a Legal Intern at the DeKalb County Public Defender’s Officefrom May 2018 to March 2020. Additionally, he worked as a Law Clerk in Commercial Litigation at Rountree Leitman & Klein, LLC from October 2018 to December 2019. In addition to his legal experience, Randy has a background in marketing and IT. He worked as a Marketing Associate/IT Technician at J. Tech Sales from May 2016 to August 2017, and as an Account Executive at PCM: The Right Technology, Delivered from June 2015 to May 2016, as part of a one-year abroad program. Randy began his career as a Customer Service Intern at Florida Power & Light Company from May 2014 to May 2015, where he developed expertise in customer service and conflict resolution.
