June 23/Web: Fighting Foreclosure Through Legal Aid-Community Organization Partnerships

Want to know more about how legal advocates are collaborating with community organizers to improve low-income homeowners' access to the court? Interested in how Los Angeles advocates and organizers are helping low-income homeowners negotiate collectively with loan servicers, and how the effort laid the groundwork for the LA City Council's support of a pilot foreclosure prevention project?

The editorial staff of Clearinghouse Review: Journal of Poverty Law and Policy, published by the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law, will sponsor a webinar on June 23, noon - 1:30 pm to explore these lawyer-organizer partnerships and strategies to fight foreclosures.
