One way to get free CLE is by applying for a scholarship.
The WSBA Criminal Law Section is pleased to award a limited number of scholarships worth at least $299 each for individuals to attend the 2010 Criminal Justice Institute scheduled for September 16–17 in Seattle.
To be considered for a scholarship, an applicant must be an attorney who is/has been a member of the Washington State Bar Association or a law student. Scholarships will be awarded to prosecutors and defense attorneys. If sufficient applications are not received, law students may also be considered.
To apply for a scholarship, applicants must submit a letter of application stating how they meet the necessary criteria and why they should receive a scholarship, including a demonstrated financial need.
