June 25/Web: Medicare Savings Programs and the Low-Income Subsidy

This webinar will address the Medicare Savings Programs (MSPs).  These are the Qualified Medicare Beneficiary Medicaid Program (QMB), codified at 42 U.S.C. §1396d(p)(1), the Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary Program (SLMB), codified at 42 U.S.C. §1396a(a)(10)(E)(iii), and the Qualified Individual Program (QI), codified at 42 U.S.C. §1396a(a)(10)(E)(iv).  These MSPs assist low-income Medicare beneficiaries with some costs of the Medicare program.  A fourth program, which assists Qualified Disabled Working Individuals (QDWI), is codified at 42 U.S.C. §1396d(s).
