October 12: The Challenges of Women in Law, Construction, & Insurance

The world we live in has come a long way for equal treatment of women in the workplace. It's no longer unheard of for women like our panelists to excel in law, construction, and insurance. However, female professionals in these industries are still a minority voice, and while the tides of progress have shaped a better and more inclusive workplace, these women often face challenges their male peers do not.
Any workplace that is primarily male would benefit from our critical discussion about the ethics of gender inequality, but it is especially relevant to those who work in insurance, law, or construction as our panelists will draw from their experience in these industries. Law and insurance professionals especially have a duty to examine their behavior for potential bias, as discrimination in these fields can lead to potentially unethical situations, both with their peers and the sensitive cases they handle.
