Speakers:

• Peter Duda is President of the agency’s global crisis and issues team and is based in New York. He has counseled clients in a wide variety of industries on media and communications strategies relating to such complex and sensitive issues as cyber security incidents, high-profile litigation, government investigations, regulatory enforcement, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, M&A transactions, hostile takeovers, labor relations, trade disputes, product liability, management transitions, corporate positioning and corporate reputation management. In the area of cyber security, Peter has helped clients manage through a wide-range of situations, including ransomware and state-actor attacks.
• Fidan Karimli is the Director of Incident Response at Coveware. She has extensive background in cyber incident response, complex white-collar and cybercrime investigations, including ransomware, fraudulent wire transactions, identity theft, check fraud, business email compromise, bust-out merchant fraud, and child exploitation cases.
• Ron Lee advises and represents clients in national security, cybersecurity and privacy, and government contracts matters. A former General Counsel of the U.S. National Security Agency 1994 to 1998 and Associate Deputy Attorney General of the U.S. Department of Justice 1998-2000, he helps companies structure and protect the commercial, compliance and strategic aspects of their relationships with key national security and cybersecurity government agencies and customers. Ron also represents clients in national security-based international trade regulatory matters; compulsory process and voluntary requests for information; Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, big data and privacy, electronic surveillance and computer crime matters, risk management and corporate governance, and security clearance matters. Ron was Chief of Staff of the Central Intelligence Agency in 1996. He served as a law clerk to Justice John Paul Stevens, Supreme Court of the United States and Judge Abner J. Mikva of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
• Keisha McClellan is vice president, global crisis & issues, at Weber Shandwick, where her focus includes cybercommunications related to cybersecurity, data privacy and regulatory concerns. She advises on a broad range of high-profile crises—including executive malfeasance and transitions, data privacy and cybersecurity incidents, litigation communications, and internal culture controversies—and counsels clients on risk management, strategic communications, brand safety, media skills training and strategy, and thought leadership visibility.
