Speaker:
Kyle White is a criminal defense attorney in private practice for nearly 30 years. His practice focuses on representing special minority populations. As a panel attorney for Outfront Minnesota, he has represented LGBT individuals throughout the criminal justice system. Presently, he is a conflicts panel attorney for the Federal Defender's Office, also known as the Criminal Justice Act or CJA panel. As a private attorney, he primarily focuses on advocating for individuals afflicted with mental illness and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). White is a former Board President of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Minnesota Chapter. He has been a frequent presenter on issues affecting the mentally ill in the criminal courts.
