May 10: Artificial Intelligence in the Energy Sector

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the energy industry in profound ways. Energy companies are utilizing AI and machine learning to optimize energy production, forecast demand, detect equipment failures, and streamline operations. 
This rapid adoption of AI is creating new legal issues and challenges for attorneys advising energy sector clients. This CLE will provide an overview of how leading energy companies are currently deploying AI across their operations. It will examine use cases such as predictive maintenance, automated trading, smart grid management, and dynamic pricing algorithms. In addition, the CLE will explore emerging legal issues surrounding the use of AI in the energy domain.
