Oct 2/Seattle: The Hague Convention: Laws of International Child Abduction

The Hague Convention has attempted to address the issues pertaining to international child custody. Despite the comprehensive scope of the convention few U.S. Attorneys realize and understand the authority it yields in U.S Courts and abroad. Join Ramina Dehkhoda-Steele as she helps U.S. practitioners navigate the Hague Convention.

Attendees at this interesting CLE will gain an understanding of:

    * A basic overview of the Hague Convention
    * Signatories to the Convention
    * Enforceability of the Hague Convention within the United States
    * Practical tips when dealing with the Hague Convention
