Apr 6/Seattle: Outcomes of the 2010 Washington State Legislature Session and Impacts on the Construction Industry

The Washington State Legislature is completing on the most difficult of all sessions with revenue shortfalls and budget cuts. As the director of government affairs for Associated General Contractors of Washington, Rick Slunaker has an active presence in Olympia. Rick advocates for proposed new laws or rules that are important to the construction industry, including AGC; maintains positive relationships with elected and appointed state officials; and informs the construction industry, through AGC, of actions taken by the legislature and state agencies.

For our April forum, Rick will discuss the 2010 legislative session from the construction industry's perspective of what was and was not accomplished and the effects on the industry.

Please join us for this timely and informative presentation!
