This is a 30-minute presentation about defeating animal cruelty, the rapidly growing field of animal law, and pro bono opportunities with the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF). Mr. Linney will also discuss ALDF’s landmark cases and victories. ALDF utilizes volunteer attorneys to work on a variety of projects including legal research, filing amicus briefs, litigating cases, and assisting prosecutors with animal cruelty cases. Mr. Linney will cover ways to make a crucial difference for animals in cases of criminal animal cruelty and proposed legislation.
