September 27/Minneapolis: New Conversations About Racial Advantages #MCLE

We haven't quite learned how to bridge the racial divide in our community--but we can! Facing race isn't an easy thing to do. Fortunately, we're in this together, and together, we can create a community where everyone is safe, valued, and respected. Talking about race and racism can be the first step. New Conversations About Racial Advantages is a self-facilitated discussion tool that can help groups begin the discussion. The CLE class will discuss the systemic nature of racism and explore the invisible benefits of being white in our society.
