November 21: Webcast - Specialty Courts to Improve Public Health Outcomes

Specialty courts can be a cost-effective, efficient way of addressing public health problems because they focus on a specific area of law. This webinar presents evaluations of family courts in North Carolina, a drug treatment court in Wilmington, Delaware, and the Philadelphia Lead Court. The presenters will share their research, as well as some lessons learned from the establishment of these courts and their operation. Webinar attendees will learn how specialty courts have been used to address a set of diverse public health needs, and how they could be adopted in other municipalities.
