Dr. Vicki Mahan is a board-certified thoracic surgeon. She is the assistant professor of surgery and chief of pediatric cardiovascular surgery as well as the co-director of the hospital heart center. Her expertise includes valve repair and aortic surgery, brain protection during hypothermic circulatory arrest, neonatal myocardial protection, fetal pacemakers and cardiac transplant.
