June 16: Subrogation Virtual Seminar - Three Sessions

Auto Subrogation: Burning Rubber!
Vehicle fires are extremely difficult cases to pursue recovery against the manufacturer for a product defect. This webinar will use the case study method where four vehicle fires that caused significant property damage will be analyzed. The presentation will highlight indications and signs showing manufacturing or design defects that result in the loss. Further, it will discuss marketing or failure to warn claims, and the proof and evidence that is necessary to succeed on those claims. The presenters will examine how to access NHTSA investigation files and recall information to better support claims against vehicle manufacturers. Lastly, they will examine various repose statutes and the economic loss doctrine.
