October 28: Webcast (Washington) - The Zoning Dispute Whisperer: Opportunities to Integrate Mediation into Zoning and Land Use Disputes

Many land use decisions are, to say the least, controversial. Cities and counties can spend inordinate amounts of time trying to find solutions to small problems. Often the resolution leaves at least one party dissatisfied. We will hear case studies from two cities that have incorporated alternative dispute resolution into their land use decision making process. We will reflect on the challenges and opportunities that mediation and facilitation present.'
