American Association for Justice (AAJ) New Lawyer Division (NLD) Chair Alexa B. D'Amato announces:
"Does an escape to Maui in the middle of January seem just like you what you need? Would it help if you could also earn CLE credits, network with other trial attorneys and learn new techniques? AAJ wants to help you make it happen!!!!
Five new lawyers will receive FREE registration to the AAJ 2010 Winter Convention to be held in Maui for those who may not be able to afford the full registration or those who have never considered attending a convention and need that extra push to make it happen.
The dates of the meeting are January 30 – February 3, 2010 in Maui, HI and more information on the convention can be found at http://www.justicewinterconvention.org/ The opportunity is open to all NLD members in good standing.
If you are interested, please complete the application at http://www.justicewinterconvention.org/scholarship_survey.cfm explaining your interest and why you feel you should be awarded the complimentary registration. APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOVEMBER 20, 2009. Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by AAJ staff and NLD leadership. Recipients will be announced no later than December 1, 2009.
Through a very generous offer, Mitchell Garrett of the Garrett Law Office, P.C. is offering to cover the airfare for those five recipients.
