February 6: Minneapolis - The Naturalization Project #Probono Training

This training will prepare attorneys to participate in the ILCM Pro Bono Naturalization Project. Through the ILCM Naturalization Project, pro bono attorneys represent low-income immigrants and refugees in their citizenship cases. The Naturalization Project is for all interested pro bono attorneys. No immigration experience is necessary. All cases have been pre-screened for eligibility and should only require 15 – 20 hours of legal work, depending on attorney experience. ILCM staff provides ongoing legal support.

Cost:

  • Attend the CLE free of charge as a pro bono attorney.  Attorneys who choose this option agree to accept at least one pro bono naturalization case following the training session. Volunteer attorneys must have an active attorney license as well as a phone number and mailing address that can be used for client representation.
  • Otherwise: $100.00
