- The historical, current, and future trends of the law of indirect infringement in patent cases
- The law of contributory infringement
- The law of induced infringement, with a particular emphasis on the recent Supreme Court decision in Limelight Networks Inc. v. Akamai Technologies Inc
- The issue of divided infringement
- The issue of whether a good faith belief that a patent is invalid can provide a defense to induced infringement, with an emphasis on Commil USA LLC v. Cisco Systems Inc. case
- The issue of whether the International Trade Commission has the authority to hear inducement patent infringement cases where a product is found to infringe after importation, with an emphasis on the ongoing Suprema Inc. et al. v. International Trade Commission case.
