Description:
This training is for family law practitioners with at least three years of experience in handling guardianship of minors and/or custody cases. The training will give an overview of the steps to obtain a predicate order from the Probate and Family Court which will enable an immigration attorney to later apply for SIJS for the immigrant youth. Experienced practitioners will give practice tips, sample pleadings and discuss common issues and challenges.
