Description:
Topics covered in this program include:
Instruction on the basic parts of any motion including introductions, factual settings, arguments and conclusions. Different types of motions will be discussed as well as the different approaches suitable to different types of motions.
The proper use of electronic court filings and how to cope with and navigate through PACER and EDGAR; the utilization of paralegals for court filings and case file maintenance. (A discussion of local court filing procedures will be also be handled on a office by office basis).
