October 1: Domestic Violence in Close Quarters During COVID-19 - Resources for Victims and Wrongfully Accused

This presentation will focus on properly handling domestic violence issues and safety plans for victims in our brave new world, with discussion of “shelter in place orders,” exceptions and safety plans for victims of domestic violence. The program also includes the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the wrongfully accused, and practical pointers for successful virtual domestic violence litigation. This will be an interactive Zoom meeting, so please be prepared for introductions and to talk about your big wins in our breakout rooms at the start of the meeting. For MCLE verification of attendance, we encourage everyone to use computers rather than phones to call in.

Tracy Catherine Miller
has been a practicing Attorney for 18 years and is the Founder of Domestic Violence Legal Center® that handles defense and victims’ rights in criminal and family court domestic violence cases, as well as Civil Harassment Restraining Order matters involving neighbor and Homeowners Association disputes. Domestic Violence Legal Center® also handles matters of general Criminal Defense including but not limited to: DUIs, theft/drug crimes, violations of court orders and “expungements.” Tracy also serves as a consultant and co-counsel with private firms and clinics regarding multiple cross-over issues pertaining to Domestic Violence.
