April 8: American Rescue Plan of 2021 and Continued Impact of FFCRA

On March 10, 2021, Congress passed the American Rescue Plan of 2021, which included new and expanded provisions of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). While providing FFCRA paid leave continues to be voluntary, issues remain for employers through 2021 and beyond whether or not your organization has chosen to continue providing FFCRA benefits. This webinar will cover recent changes to FFCRA compliance, provide guidance on new types of leave, and explore the following:
  • Expanded categories of FFCRA paid leave for which employers may claim payroll tax credits
  • Non-discrimination rules that mandate provision of FFCRA leave to all employees
  • Legal update: What is the next wave of FFCRA-related litigation?
  • Best practices for addressing continued employee leave requests
