The program brings together more than 25 scholars to examine how civil justice can respond to the complex risks created by global warming. Topics include climate litigation, insurance coverage, community‑level harms, natural disaster response, and regulatory and legislative strategies. Sessions explore existential risk, polycentric disputes, extraterritorial issues, discrimination and unequal impacts, and the evolving role of courts and policymakers in addressing climate‑driven harms.
