John F. Kennedy is a shareholder and co-chair of the Litigation Department at Shefsky & Froelich, Ltd. John is a trial lawyer with over 20 years experience. In addition, John teaches at The John Marshall Law School: Accelerated Trial Advocacy for Intellectual Property Section with Judge Holderman, Chief Judge for the District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. John is also a contributor to IICLE; and a lecturer for the Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois and the Illinois Professional Responsibility Institute for the ARDC. John’s practice includes special remedies, such as the prosecution and defense of motions for temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunction orders, and appeals therefrom. In addition to his trial work and teaching, John has prosecuted and defended appeals before the 1st, 2nd and 4th District Appellate Courts and the Illinois Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Susan Poll-Klaessy is an associate in the Litigation Department at Shefsky & Froelich, Ltd. in Chicago. Ms. Poll-Klaessy is a member of the Federal Trial Bar; recently cochaired a week long trial to verdict in federal district court, and cochaired a two week arbitration. Susan has also successfully prosecuted an appeal before the first district appellate court.
