"Bloomberg BNA is an approved provider of CLE credits in all states. Individual programs are pre-approved in California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas. All other requests for program approval are subject to state-specific approval. The approval process may take approximately four to six weeks in some states. In the states where programs are pre-approved or Bloomberg BNA holds Approved Provider status, credits will be processed within one to three business days. If you do not see the state(s) in which that you are requesting CLE credit listed as a certificate option, Bloomberg BNA has not yet received approval for your selected course in that state, and the status is still “pending.” Pending approvals can take up to four to six weeks to process, depending on the location being requested.   • Mindy Rattan, Litigation Team Lead, Analysis Bloomberg Law. Mindy is the litigation team lead in the Analysis unit at Bloomberg Law. She is responsible for developing the litigation-related content on the Bloomberg Law platform. Before assuming that role, Mindy was a legal ethics reporter for Bloomberg Law. She practiced law for 16 years as a commercial litigator. She also counseled colleagues and clients regarding legal ethics issues. She has presented numerous programs both for the ABA's Center for Professional Responsibility and the DC Bar about ethical issues faced in the practice of law, including ethical issues relating to social media and cloud computing, and ethics and integrity. Mindy is a past Chair of the ABA's Center for Professional Responsibility's CLE Committee.
  • David Kleiman, enior Product Manager, Litigation, Bloomberg Law, David Kleiman is Senior Product Manager at Bloomberg Law, focused on delivering tools and analytics for litigation attorneys. He was previously a litigator at Arnold & Porter LLP and law clerk for a federal district court judge. David has written on the topic of demystifying AI for lawyers through supervised machine learning.
  • Elizabeth T. Simon, Ethics Attorney,mAkin Gump. Liz Simon advises on a wide range of ethics and compliance-related matters to support the firm’s offices worldwide. Liz is involved in issues impacting firm risk management and client relations. These include resolving conflict-of-interest situations, advising on ethical questions and developing of firm policies to support ethics and compliance best practices. Liz is an experienced litigator and legal ethics advisor, having spent her legal career representing clients in commercial and business litigation and appeals, including cases involving insurance coverage, professional liability, intellectual property, business torts and legal ethics. As a legal ethics advisor, she counseled lawyers and bar applicants on legal ethics matters, including investigations, disciplinary proceedings, fee disputes and bar admissions.Liz has represented clients in the disciplinary process in the District of Columbia and Maryland and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and in District of Columbia fee dispute arbitrations. She speaks and writes extensively on ethics issues.
