Speaker:
Joel Levin, Adjunct Professor of Law, Levin & Associates Co. LPA,  has taught at law schools here and in Europe, including twice in Russia for the State Department. While in Russia, he arranged passage for Russian mathematicians and, with them, founded two software development companies. He has tried well over 100 cases and argued more than 200 appeals. Mr. Levin has published widely, including on legal philosophy, the common law, legal reasoning and logic, Shakespeare and Dickens each as legal observers, and a number of issues in ethics, beginning with his law school valedictory address on ethical procrastination. Recently, in the third of his four books,
Tort Wars, he attempted to provide a general theory of civil law. His play on Benjamin Cardozo, Marrano Justice, with music, recently ran in Arizona. Currently, Mr. Levin is working on two books: The Oxymoron of Professional Ethics and Saving Liberalism from Liberals. For more than 30 years, he has been an adjunct professor at Case Law School, where he currently teaches Legal Philosophy.
