October 28: Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions

Civility is both a legal and a life skill: this is the belief of many in the legal profession and the focus of the 2020 National Conversation on Civility
On October 28, you'll hear from federal judges who will discuss the value of civility in resolving disputes and maintaining positive working relationships which are the foundation of a healthy, high-functioning legal system.
In addition, the National Conversation on Civility will explore the value of civility being at the heart of civics education for the next generation of jurors, lawyers, judges, and engaged citizens.
