May 2: Fundamental Rights and Freedoms in the US and Canada

Have you ever wondered how fundamental rights are treated in the US and Canada?
Following the recent protests in Canada, do you want to learn more about some of the rights accorded individuals in Canada?
Join Jonathan Grad of Extra Mile Law, PLLC for this fast-moving, basic comparative law class about similarities and differences in basic rights granted under the US Constitution and Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms ("Canadian Charter").
You will learn about a number of fundamental rights granted under the US Constitution and whether these rights are unique to the US or are provided for under the Canadian Charter as well. The class is intended to enhance people's understanding of the extent to which, and how, certain fundamental rights are protected under US and Canadian law.
