A mechanic's lien is a claim for a specific monetary amount that a contractor or material supplier files against the owner's property in the event they haven't been paid for the services or materials they provided on a construction project. 
This CLE will give attendees an overview of how mechanic's liens work and why they can be a very powerful remedy for contractors and material suppliers.
