November 16: Mediation, 30 Years Running

The presentation will include a brief historical perspective of mediation and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) practices. This will be followed by key facets and requirements in a mediation.. There will be a discussion of the applications, mediation approaches and effectiveness of mediation within the context of various subject matter disputes. During the last 30-45 minutes of the session the speaker will provide a presentation of sample mediations illustrating some of the benefits, pitfalls and unforeseen outcomes in my practice. Questions and contributions from participants’ own experiences are encouraged.
