Description:
This CLE will explore the benefits and pitfalls of advanced planning for end of life from a legal and medical perspective. The panel will include attorneys and a medical doctor, with expertise in preparing clients and patients for end of life. Beginning with an overview of the legal landscape in Washington around consent, capacity, and death with dignity, the panel will discuss several hypothetical scenarios to illustrate how attorneys and doctors can help close the knowledge and care gap for their mutual client/patient in end of life planning or in crisis scenarios.
