June 18: Virtual Pro Bono CLE Series: AI Tools and Technology for Legal Aid and Pro Bono

Description:
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the legal technology landscape, with new tools and platforms making significant claims about their potential to improve legal practice. For those working in legal aid and pro bono, these developments raise important questions about which tools are truly useful, how they can be implemented effectively, and what ethical obligations apply.
This program will explore the potential uses of AI in legal aid and pro bono, practical considerations for implementing AI tools, key legal ethics issues implicated by AI use, and how legal professionals can build the knowledge and skills needed to use AI responsibly and effectively in their work.
This program is also being offered as part of PILI’s Summer Educational Series for our Law Student Interns and Graduate Fellows.
