Bodies Under Surveillance: Technology, Power, and Reproductive Privacy in a Post-Dobbs World

Description:
Join the Reproductive Rights Law Initiative at Case Western Reserve University School of Law for a conversation about the impact of surveillance technology for those seeking reproductive healthcare and what we can do to protect reproductive and abortion care privacy in Ohio.

Our panel of digital privacy, reproductive justice, and legal experts will explore how currently employed surveillance technologies work, and why their use raises serious concerns regarding Fourth Amendment rights, current and proposed state legislation, and healthcare privacy and access.

We will discuss what’s at stake and how Ohioans can take action to restrain and regulate surveillance technologies through state policy, local advocacy, and grassroots organizing. Whether you’re new to these issues or already involved in the fight for reproductive freedom, this conversation will offer practical ways to get informed and involved.
