An update of the current state of Affairs in the Appeals Division of IRS will be presented, along with current problems and future changes.

Is CTEC dead? Will the new Return Preparer System create a "Mini-EA"? Will Attorneys and CPA's who do purely representation work have to obtain and pay for a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)? The ins and outs of the new Return Preparer system will be covered in detail, and as more information becomes available, clarifications may be presented you have not heard before.
