This training will prepare legal practitioners to provide advice and representation to individuals who may be eligible for the new "Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals" program announced by President Obama on June 15, 2012 and which went into effect on August 15. The training will cover the more complex topics in eligibility and the application process.
The training is being provided free of charge by Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, but in order to participate in the training, you are committing to participating in at least one community workshop or legal clinic put on by NWIRP in partnership with the Washington chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
