  • Maureen Wilner is the CEO and Founder of The Wilner Group, a women-owned, full-service boutique professional staffing and talent management firm focusing on Executive & Retained Search, Contingent, and Temporary & Contract project engagements across various industries and sectors nationwide.
    With over 15 years of experience, Maureen has been instrumental in helping professionals and business leaders tackle their most challenging issue—finding the right talent.   • Marilyn Atlas-Berney is a New Jersey licensed attorney. Marilyn’s general practice primarily focused on all aspects of real estate law, including residential and commercial transactions, lease matters and disputes, property tax appeals, construction litigation for individuals and small businesses, foreclosures, Medicaid planning and advising, and contract review and resolution. The common thread in whatever matter Marilyn was on was doing so with integrity and focus to zealously, but fairly, advocate for her clients. One of the core tenants of her practice is clear and effective communication between all parties. Marilyn is a graduate of New York Law School and Penn State University and is an attorney admitted to practice in New Jersey and The U.S. District Court for the State of New Jersey. She has served on the New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics Fee Arbitration Committee, weighing in fee fairness disputes between clients and attorneys, as well as the Essex County Vicinage Juvenile Conference Committee.
  • Sy Justin Sommer is the Director of Product Enablement at LEAP Legal Software. Sy is a 2010 graduate of Fordham Law School and is an attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York. Sy began his career in the Family Law Department of Manhattan law firm Davidoff Hutcher & Citron LLP. After three years with DHC, Sy took a role with JPMorgan Chase Bank in Brooklyn, NY where he served as an Associate Vice President Senior Counsel in the bank’s Mortgage Banking Litigation group. In 2018, Sy sought to apply his legal education and experience in the legal technology space and joined LEAP with excitement to further the company’s mission of helping attorneys to be more productive with cloud technology. Despite being a born and raised New Yorker, Sy currently resides in Jersey City, New Jersey.
CLE Credit:
Generally, LEAP programs are eligible for 1 hour(s) of CLE credit in 60-minute states, and 1.2 hour(s) of CLE credit in 50-minute states;however at this writing the announcement does not say in which states. Additional states may be requested upon completion of the course.
