Title:
Probate and Beyond: An Overview of the Different Options Available to Practitioners in Settling Estates Online

Description:
This presentation will provide an overview of the different options available to practitioners and estate administrators to administer estates in the most efficient manner. A review of when a court proceeding is necessary and when it isn’t and the different types of proceedings available to practitioners. A review of the important considerations in deciding the best way to proceed and the possible pitfalls to avoid.

Our presenter, Amy Mason, has practiced as a civil litigation attorney since graduating from law school in 2005. She started her practice at a big 10 law firm in Minneapolis, where, in addition to honing her litigation skills generally, she also started to develop a specialty in the areas of trust and estate disputes as well as guardianship and conservatorship matters. In addition to these practice areas, Amy is also adept at guiding clients through estate administration including, as needed, probates and trust administration.
