April 26: The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Legal Services

Much has been made of the "rise of the robo-lawyers." This session will cut through the hype. It will explore the ways in which artificial intelligence is impacting the way licensed legal professionals provide legal services, as well as the ways consumers seek assistance with their legal issues, and it will discuss emerging ethical issues, AI's impact on the access to justice gap, and proposed legal services regulatory reforms. Finally, the session will identify technology-related challenges and opportunities for legal services stakeholders in the years ahead.
