September 25: Did They Have Permission? Interpreting the Omnibus Clause in Automobile Insurance Policies

This webinar will discuss how to determine whether the driver of a vehicle qualifies as a “permissive user” under typical automobile insurance policies, including the factors relied on by courts when evaluating coverage under the omnibus provision. In addition to discussing the different rules employed by different jurisdictions, the presenters will discuss how much a driver can deviate from the permitted type of use and still qualify as a “permissive user,” and whether a permissive user can grant permission to a third or fourth user.
